Welcome to the Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship Program at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, part of Memorial Healthcare System. I’m delighted that you’re exploring our program as you take the next step in your medical career. Choosing where to train is a meaningful decision, and we are committed to offering an environment where you can grow into a skilled, compassionate, and confident pediatric cardiologist.

Our mission is simple: to provide exceptional care to children and outstanding training to the physicians who care for them. At Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, you’ll join a collaborative, patient centered team that values curiosity, professionalism, and innovation. Our faculty are deeply invested in your development and will support you as you build your clinical expertise, leadership skills, and professional identity. Our ACGME accredited three year program will have three positions each year.

You will gain comprehensive exposure to congenital and acquired heart disease across all stages of life. The experience is supported by high volume clinical and cardiovascular surgical services, advanced imaging, interventional and electrophysiology programs, and heart failure and transplantation services. Fellows are integral members of multidisciplinary care, learning to navigate complex decisions with confidence and empathy.

Equally important, we prioritize mentorship, well being, and a culture that celebrates diversity and teamwork. We believe that great physicians are shaped not only by what they learn, but by the community that surrounds them.
