About Me
I am a fellowship-trained, board-certified hematology and oncology specialist at Memorial Healthcare System, where I diagnose and treat a variety of cancers and blood disorders. I offer a range of personalized therapy options through coordinated, multidisciplinary care.

I was first drawn to medicine because it sits at the intersection of science, human connection and service. I was inspired by the chance to pair scientific rigor with patient advocacy and make high-quality care more accessible, especially for Spanish-speaking patients.

Hematology and oncology combine rapidly advancing science with some of the most meaningful and enduring relationships in medicine. This field allows me to guide patients and families through some of the hardest moments of their lives.

I’ve seen first-hand how much a clear explanation and steady, reassuring presence can mean to someone who is frightened or unwell. That’s why I take time to translate complex diagnoses and evidence into concepts my patients and their families can understand. I strive to empower them to be active partners in their own care.

I place particular emphasis on providing equitable, accessible care to underserved communities. I’m committed to helping address the disparities in cancer care that affect the Hispanic communities I serve.
